女足靚女茅躉王 罰無限期停賽

新墨西哥大學女足隊灰狼的後衛伊莉莎白林拔﹙Elizabeth Lambert﹚，近日成為互聯網上紅人，但非因她貌美或球技了得，而是伊莉莎白踢法實在太茅，一場比賽盡施打背脊、扯頭髮、省面及掌嘴等招式，結果被罰無限期停賽。

事緣在日前灰狼0﹕1不敵楊百翰大學美洲校隊的女足大學聯賽，灰狼後衛伊莉莎白在該役「大開殺戒」，包括爭位時從後以「黑虎偷心」怒擊對方背部，之後還抓着美洲校隊球員的馬尾，以「四両撥千斤」強行將對手拉落地，似打摔角多於踢波。雖然球證奇蹟地完全走漏眼，但伊莉莎白的暴行仍被鏡頭拍攝下來，在互聯網迅即成為火熱話題，甚至引來電視台報道。有網友戲稱伊莉莎白該轉打NBA，拯救被指防守軟弱的溜馬。墨西哥大學眼見事情愈鬧愈大，立即宣布判罰伊莉莎白無限期停賽，該名20歲後衛亦發表道歉聲明，指甘願接受任何懲罰。

University of New Mexico junior defender Elizabeth Lambert has been suspended indefinitely from the women's soccer team after her rough play during a match against BYU in the semifinals of the Mountain West Conference tournament. (Nov. 6)

Throwing elbows, punching in the back, tripping, hair pulling, kicking into someone's face and sucker punches? Sounds like a typical scrum between young siblings. Well, in the 2009 MWN semifinal match between BYU and New Mexico, there was no lipstick, no perfume and no fingernail polish. There was, however, good old fashioned chick fighting.


In a big game last week, BYU forward Kassidy C. Shumway (21) is pulled to the ground by New Mexico defender Elizabeth Lambert (15) as she tries to maintain possession. Lambert was suspended Friday for her infractions during the match.
