She did it, and we all knew she was gonna!

Susan Boyle joins the dance group Diversity in the live finals on Saturday 30th after performing an outstanding performance of Memory from another musical known as Cats.

As the song concluded, she broke into a smile showing that she was pleased with her performance. She said:

All my life I’ve driven to prove myself. That I’m not just this little woman from Scotland. I just want that chance to perform in front of the Queen.

She also said that because of all the hype she’d gained recently from the internet in the past 7 weeks, she was under no pressure.

Piers Morgan said:

Susan I thought you looked absolutely beautiful tonight. When the world was going through a pretty tough time, looking for a bit of hope and inspiration, along came Susan Boyle to provide it. Thank you Susan.

Amanda Holden, another judge, agreed:

I’m so proud that you represented Britain so well.

Surprisingly, hard-to-please judge Simon Cowell had nothing bad to say:

You are one special lady, you really are.

Susan Boyle will appear on the final show on Saturday May 30th. See you there!

憑藉著天籟嗓音紅遍全球的蘇珊大媽近日又傳來好消息，在24日現場直播的《英國達人》半決賽上，蘇珊大媽以精彩的表現再次獲得滿堂彩，順利晉級下一輪比賽。

4月第一次參加節目時，蘇珊一身土氣的打扮引起在場每個人的嘲笑，不過在週日的半決賽中，蘇珊特地做了髮型，還穿了一件閃閃發亮的紫色洋裝，讓人眼前一亮。

此次，蘇珊選擇的表演曲目是廣受歡迎的音樂劇《貓》（Cats）主題曲《回憶》（Memory），。因為緊張，蘇珊開嗓時聲音略顯低沉，震撼力明顯不如上一次的出場比賽，不過之後蘇珊漸入佳境，高音部份發揮得淋漓盡致，演唱結束後評審及現場觀眾都起立為她鼓掌。

評審摩根（Piers Morgan）不斷地稱讚蘇珊：「當世界經濟正經歷艱困時刻，蘇珊．博伊爾提供了精彩的演出，謝謝你，蘇珊」。毒舌評審西蒙．考威爾（Simon Cowell）也給予蘇珊最大肯定：「我必須要說，你是一個很特別的女士，你真的當之無愧。」之後他甚至為蘇珊第一次表演前嘲諷她公開致歉，「你令我和其他之前對你有偏見的人顯得十分愚蠢」。博伊爾則十分大方，一直試圖打斷他的道歉，稱她早已忘了這件事。

在半決賽中，除了評審打分數，還開設觀眾投票，從8位參賽者中選出2位進入決賽。蘇珊憑藉著超高人氣獲得了觀眾的認可，在蘇格蘭，很多蘇珊的老鄉在大屏幕前為她加油。最後，蘇珊．博伊爾以高票獲選，順利挺進《英國達人》決賽。

在宣佈結果時，她以手掩嘴不敢置信，隨後逕自走向舞台中央，直到主持人請她走到舞台邊受訪，她不禁扭腰擺臀，「笑果」十足。當被問到晉級的感覺時，蘇珊笑著說：「就像在世界之巔，棒極了。」說罷，她還向空中揮了揮拳頭，做了幾個舞蹈動作表達自己的興奮之情。對於接下來的半決賽，蘇珊說：「我會盡力而為，一切都有可能發生。」而如何處理外界關注所帶來的壓力，蘇珊則輕鬆地表示，「什麼壓力？我在表演時十分盡興，每一秒都很盡興，我願意再表演一次！」

據悉，《英國達人》接下來將舉行5場準決賽，從40名準決賽參賽者中選出10人，參加5月30日舉行的決賽。冠軍得主不僅會贏得10萬英鎊獎金，還將獲得為英國女王伊麗莎白二世演出的機會。

Following the result of your votes, Susan Boyle is already through (and has thanked Piers for it!), but it's now up to the judges who will join her in Saturday's final. It's between Diversity and Natalie Okri. Who will they chose?

The semi finals on 24th May 2009 determined by a public vote, two acts (out of ten) that would make it through to the final where they would compete to win 50,000 pounds. The public vote alone decided Susan Boyle went to the final. The next most popular two acts, Diversity and Natalie Okri. It was now for the judges to decide who made it to the final. Piers Morgan went with Diversity, Amanda Holden with Natalie and finaly Simon Cowell went with Diversity. So Diversity made it to the final. The continuation of the semi-finals are on ITV1 for the next week. (23May-30thMay)
