Madonna pays tribute to Michael Jackson






On July 4, the reigning queen of pop, Madonna, paid tribute to the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, with a musical tribute to the star at the O2 arena in London.

While Madonna was performing "Holiday", a Jackson impersonator took the stage, wearing a sequined jacket, white T-shirt, white glove and white socks in the Jackson manner.

An image of a young Michael Jackson was projected in the background. The impersonator then moonwalked to his hit "Billie Jean" and "Wanna Be Startin' Something".

Madonna said, "Let's give it up for one of the greatest artists the world has ever known: Michael Jackson. Long Live The King!"."

She and her dancers donned jeweled gloves on their right hands to honor MJ for their final dance "Give It 2 Me". Behind the stage some words from Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" were flashed up briefly: "If you want to make the world a better place look inside yourself and make a change."

樂壇天后麥當娜前晚在倫敦的O2體育館開騷，特別加插了一段表演向MJ致敬。除了播出MJ的童年照和經典名曲《Wanna Be Starting Something》和《Billie Jean》外，並找來「翻版」MJ大跳Moonwalk舞步。娜姐大讚MJ是世上最偉大的歌手，將永垂不朽，獲得全場二萬名觀眾拍手起哄。她又與舞蹈員在左手戴上MJ標誌性的白色手套，以示悼念。

美國流行樂天后麥當娜（ Madonna）周六在倫敦演唱會上，向逝世的流行樂天王米高積遜致敬。她找來舞蹈員化身米高，表演米高驚世經典的 Moonwalk舞步，在表演最後一曲《Give It 2 Me》時，又和舞蹈員在右手戴上米高招牌式的閃珠手套，在台上巨型螢幕上閃出米高《 Man in the Mirror》歌詞：
“ If you want to make the world a better place look inside yourself and make a change.”

Moonwalker王者傳奇之舊日時光－－流行天王米高積遜（ Michael Jackson）逝世一周，世界各地不斷舉行致敬活動。 91年曾傳與 MJ談戀愛的樂壇天后麥當娜（ Madonna），打算今日在倫敦舉行的 Sticky& Sweet演唱會中以特別環節向 MJ致敬。昨日在新奧爾良舉行的 Essence音樂節，眾歌手分別模仿 MJ的台風，如向舞台王者作別。

麥當娜今天會在倫敦 O2體育館舉行 Sticky& Sweet演唱會，曾經與 MJ傳出曖昧緋聞的娜姐，決定向他正式說再見。因為 MJ的演唱會原定於 O2體育館舉行，今次娜姐在同一場館向 MJ致敬，可謂別具意義。

Ne-Yo以舞步致敬

據娜姐的發言人 Liz Rosenberg昨日向傳媒證實，娜姐今天在倫敦舉行的演唱會中，將加插一個向 MJ致敬的環節，她過去數日密鑼緊鼓綵排舞步，在一張娜姐向外發放的綵排相片中，娜姐與一個作 MJ打扮的舞蹈員熱舞，不過有別於最近的致敬演出，娜姐想帶出歡樂氣氛，不想令表演太過傷感。

其實娜姐於 80年出道，與 MJ同期冒起，兩人雖在樂壇爭個你死我活，但私底下卻是深交。 91年兩人結伴出席當時的奧斯卡頒獎禮，據當年出版的《 People》雜誌報道，娜姐於頒獎禮後到訪 MJ家中，更挑逗 MJ，暗指娜姐與他發生過一夜情。雖然孰真孰假無從稽考，但娜姐和 MJ識英雄重英雄卻是不爭事實。

另一邊，昨日在新奧爾良舉行的 Essence音樂節，不少歌手也有演出，當中饒舌歌手 Ne-Yo更在表演中以黑衫黑褲黑鞋白 T恤的打扮，用舞步向 MJ作別，他還獻唱《 Human Nature》和《 Off the Wall》等 MJ名曲，令台下觀眾肅然。

米高遺作隨時上市

此外，有報道指 MJ身故前，在籌備倫敦演唱會的同時，原來剛錄好兩張大碟，一張是走流行路線，並邀得一班人氣後輩如 Claude Kelly及 Akon合唱，希望打入年輕人市場。另一張則以純音樂為主，據稱貴為流行天王的 MJ，近年愛聽古典音樂，還找來著名古典作曲家 David Michael Frank合作。現時唱片公司正埋首製作後期，估計兩碟出版日期指日可待。
